Luminous Prismic Beings from The Parade“The Parade” published in Dream Network Journal, Fall 2009
Across the bright sky, seven nebulous figures tumble and dance. Prismatic energy pulses through ethereal bodies, reflecting rainbows with every movement. They burst through the clouds, a celestial hierarchy of jewel-tone colors: Ruby, fiery coral, emerald and lemony citrine; sapphire, amethyst and the seventh figure shimmers like crushed diamonds. Mesmerized, I stumble over my own feet and bump into a stranger.  “Are you okay?” A large hand grips my elbow. I gaze up. Penetrating pearl-gray eyes make me feel as if I’ve dropped into another universe.
